Antes de fazer os quadrinhos eu costumo fazer varios rascunhos. Tanto das cenas quando dos personagens em separado e alguns eu uso mais de uma vez (é uma tatica muito utilizada nos quadrinhos americanos) para postar os quadrinhos mais rapido. Nesta imagem estão reunidas varios desenhos que fiz do Tardos The Drilbur.

Aproveito para contar algumas coisas a respeito deste personagem. No inicio eu pensei em Pokemon iniciais(um time que pensei era em por seria a Snivy (por ser uma cobra e normalmente cobras são utilizada por vilões e praticam maldades, eu queria fazer uma serpente que praticasse o bem para apagar este estigma ruim) e Sandile ou Totodile(este é mais por gosto pessoal)) mas eram tanto pokemons destes nas fichas que desanimei.

Então eu decidi procurar por fichas que tinham um drillbur e não encontrei nenhuma ficha com um drilbur e decidi fazer uma. Depois de fazer o desenho e definir uma personalidade legal nele, coloquei um lenço de explorador e defini os golpes. Escolhi Dig pois alem de ser um golpe versatil ele da para criar muitas coisas legais na historia (e não foi apenas eu fiz isso, os cameos que foram feitos dele utilizaram muito este golpe de maneira bem criativa); Escolhi Drill Run pois alem de ser um golpe muito legal é a marca registrada dos drilburs. Escolhi Metal Claw pois ele era um golpe que os movimentos lembravam os do Wolverine (e adoro quadrinhos) e por fim escolhi Mud Slap pois o Tardos precisava de um golpe de distancia ( pois os 3 tem que fazer contato com o oponente) e ele prejudica a visão do oponente. Mas eu coloquei este golpe antes do Excadrill da Iris aprender Focus Blast que um golpe muito legal e mais impactante (Talvez eu retire o Mud Slap para colocar este golpe depois que ele evoluir para excadrill).

Apos isso so faltava um nome. No inicio eu pensei em uma variação do nome Fred Krueger,mas alem dele ser o vilão ja tinha sido utilizado este nome por outra pessoa. Então tentei varias variações de palavras em linguas diferentes mas não obtia o resultado esperado. Então lembrei que nos jogos de RPG tem muitos nomes legais e comecei a procurar começando no DVD do Caverna do Dragão. Nele tinha varios nome legais e quando vi um deles cujo titulo era "o Tesouro de Tardos" onde os herois tinham uma aventura em uma cidade que ficava em um cenario com muitas rochas e areia que se chamava Tardos e eles enfrentavam um Dragão bem poderoso chamado Demodragão. O nome da cidade era bem chamativo e como o Drilbur é um pokemon do tipo solo(ground) decidi por este nome.

Apos a primeira missão eu decidi pesquisar a respeito dos drillburs ( como ele é de uma geração recente eu pesquisei tambem dos excadrills). No anime os drilburs são divididos em duas categorias:

- O Drilbur que era da Iris. Nesta versão a Iris quando era uma criança, os pokemons que eram amigos dela mostraram um drilbur roubando uma toca cheia de Berries que era de um Patrat.Iris decidiu dar uma lição no drilbur mas ela tomou (segundo a propria Iris) 10 surras seguidas. Mas entre estas batalhas ela treinava com troncos para vencer este drilbur e o drilbur assistia escondido os treinamentos dela. Na decima primeira luta Iris finalmente consegue encarar o drilbur de igual para igual. Apos a Iris deter o golpe Drill Run, o Drilbur acaba preso em alguns cipos suspenso em um precipicio. Apavorado ele se debateu tanto que acabou arrebentando as cordas. Ele estava caindo para uma morte certa quando o Drilbur foi salvo pela Iris. Agradecido ele se uniu a Iris e os dois juntos venceram tudo que enfrentavam ate o torneio realizado todo ano na vila dela (e o Drilbur era o unico pokemon dela) e ele evoluiu para excadril. Mas apos vencer o torneio o Excadrill perdeu para o Haxorus do Dreydem (graças a um golpe de 1-Hit-KO) ele achou que a Iris não se procupou com ele e envergonhado pela derrota passou a desobedece-la ate recentemente apos perder para um Beartic da sua rival. Os seus amigos resolveram o problema e o Excadrill voltou a obedecer a Iris e graças a ele a Iris venceu o Pikachu do Ash e venceu o torneio. Este Drilbur/Excadrill é um malandro,gosta de fazer maldades e intimidar os outros (por exemplo pegar o Pikachu pela cauda deixando ele pendurado), mas tambem e um excelente lutador e é determinado.

- E os Drilbur dos recentes filmes duplos da serie.No Victini e o heroi negro (eu ainda não vi o outro desculpe) uma purrloin esta encostado em uma arvore quando um drilbur apareceu saindo da terra e os 2 se drigiram a um local onde tinha muitas arvores de Pecha Berries.Nela dois drilbur estavam se divertindo quando Victini entrega uma pecha para cada um e eles agradecem antes de comerem as pecha berries. E depois aparece um grupo de drilburs acenando para o Victini no final do filme. Neste caso os drilbur são sociaveis, um deles tem amizade com uma Purrloin, gostam de comer Pecha berries e se divertirem.


Apos reunir estas informações eu esbocei um roteiro da historia do Tardos e coloquei na ficha deles (ai vai o link):

Então decidir contar algumas curiosidades e observações sobre o Tardos:

-O nome da equipe remete aos 2. No caso da palavra "Star" é que os Clefary vem das estrelas (ele são alienigenas) e a palavra "grounds" de devido ao Tardos ter ligação com o Solo. E assim Surgiu a equipe Star Grounds.



- O Tardos sabe aplicar primeiros socorros nos outros pokemon mas é apenas a medicina basica que ele aprendeu com a dona do orfanato do Daycare (na vida real seria o conhecimento equivalente ao de um soldado,policial,bombeiro entre outros que tem estes conhecimentos e aplica no dia-a-dia da profissão) que é o seguinte:

* Estancar o sangue de ferimentos e fazer curativos (Ele aplicou isso na Aleena na Missão 2 (Impedindo o roubo de ovos) e na Mindi,a irmã do Chill na missão 3) tanto de forma natural como foi no caso da Aleena quanto de forma magica como ele passou as instruções para a Aleena e a equipe Elgyem (LGM) para utilizarem os seus poderes psiquicos para estancarem o sangue da irmã do Chill ate eles chegarem a vila onde poderia se aplicar melhor os procedimentos medicos).

* Ressucitação cardiaca para o caso de algum infarto (na falta ou impossibilidade de se utilizar um pokemon que tenha habilidades de eletricidade) ou quando alguma vitima foi salva de um afogamento.

*Saber fazer talas para se imobilizar algum osso quebrado de forma natural.

*Noções basicas de anatomia para saber especificar os problemas que um pokemon esta sofrendo (no caso foi quando Tardos encontrou a Aleena e viu alem dos hematomas dos golpes que recebia que ela estava magra e desnutrida devido a falta de consumo de comida e pouca agua e tambem falando do dano na coluna vertebral da Mindi na missão 3)

*Medir temperatura e tambem os batimentos do coração (apesar de ter dificuldades em fazer isso devido as suas garras serem feitas para cortar)

Mas o Tardos não possui medicina avançada em comparação aos Doutores da tenda medica. No caso o Tardos não sabe fazer uma cirurgia,não sabe anatomia mais avançada (ele por exemplo não sabe falar de algum problema que afeta um pokemon especifico por exemplo) não sabe fazer medicamentos como o Doutor Quaack que passou os ingredientes na missão de evento evento (ajuda medica) entre outros exemplos de medicina.




- O Tardos sabe varias taticas de combate e de armadilhas (ele mesmo sabe como tornar uma armadilha letal se ele desejasse com por exemplo colocar espetos cobertos com veneno no fundo de um buraco (criado por ele no caso) e devidamente disfarçado por exemplo para matar qualquer pokemon que caisse na armadilha) mas ele não aplica isso porque primeiro interfere com a sua meta inicial que é ser aceito pelo outros pokemon sem terem medo dele, segundo que ele e sua parceira evitam matar alguem pois alguns dos inimigos deles são amigos afiliados aos Merchants e aos Rogues com outros objetivos em comum (que as vezem entram em atrito com as missões dos rescues), outros tem a chance de se arrempenderem e fazerem a coisa certa (foi o caso da Shelly que ela praticava o mal no inicio mas graça a eles agora faz a coisa certa, é elogiada e por isso tem uma verdadeira paixão pelos dois e tambem dos outros Sneasel que ele derrotaram nas missões e tambem no caso dos Beartics) mas isso tambem é um ponto fraco da equipe (foi o caso do Shiv que ele naturalmente é um assassino e não se arrepende das coisas que faz). Por isso o Tardos faz armadilhas e usa taticas não-letais apenas para tirar os pokemon inimigos do caminho e graças a isso muitas missões foram completadas desta forma (ele so mataria alguem em ultimo caso como por exemplo se isso for necessario para salvar a sua parceira por exemplo).



-Tardos tambem tem ciencia das suas forças e fraquezas e é por isso que as vezes ele utiliza essas taticas e evita combates diretos (por exemplo ele seria o primeiro a ser derrotado se ele enfrentasse o Shiv com o artefato ou então os Beartics e por isso ele espera as vezes a hora certa para atacar onde causaria mais estrago em um inimigo (como no caso do Slasher na missão 2 que ele acertou o Slasher com o golpe Drill Run na parte onde fica menos ossos no corpo (no caso parte do sistema digestivo entre outros orgãos)) mas ele dosa os golpes justamente para não matar ninguem.



- Ate recentemente embora em missões o Tardos e um bom rescue, na vida social ele tinha problemas. Ele não bebe bebidas alcoolicas (e impede a sua parceira de fazer isso tambem justamente por ela ser muito curiosa) e por isso era dificil ver eles no Spinda Cafè por exemplo, ele evita demostrar algumas emoções como raiva,medo ou tristeza pois ele sente a necessidade de dar forças a sua parceira (para tentar compensar a sua dor pela perda da familia) e compensa isso com analizes,observações,perguntas (embora seja menos que a sua parceira) e atitudes. Na missão 3 quando Chill o abraçou agradecendo ele por tudo que ele e as outras equipes fizeram foi a primeira vez que Tardos chorou depois de muitos anos sem derramar uma unica lagrima,Pois ele parou de chorar ainda na infancia. E tambem nunca tentou paquerar uma femea (O inicio do namoro com a Aleena foi algo inesperado para ele mas ele aceitou de bom grado pois Tardos gostava dela) por causa deste problemas apesar de na teoria saber varias coisas sobre relacionamentos amorosos.

After the first mission I decided to research about the drillburs (as he is a generation now I also researched the excadrills). In the anime drilburs are divided into two categories:

So I decided to share some observations about the curiosities and Tardos:
